About Us

Horses Helping People is a centre for the whole community, especially those with special needs.

Therapeutic horsemanship brings together horses and people in a brand new way. Instead of being our servants, horses can be our helpers and guides on a journey of self development.

At Horses Helping People you can spend time in a relaxing rural environment. Enjoy the company of our resident horses and the wildlife we help to conserve.

We have a whole range of horse related activities to suit your individual needs. You will have the opportunity to join in the daily activities of looking after the horses, such as grooming and feeding. Find out about horse behaviour and how to communicate with horses in a way that both horse and human can understand and enjoy.

For those able to ride, we offer Western riding in comfortable saddles, a harmonious style which encourages partnership between horse & rider. Riding takes place in a safe area with expert instruction on hand.

Learn new skills and enjoy the natural surroundings while improving your own wellbeing.

All our activities are risk assessed, and safety standards constantly monitored.
